Here’s a great example of a monthly product update from Wistia. Something I know a lot of product marketing teams try at one point or another. I love their video (would expect nothing less from Wistia) and their blog post has a number of great product visuals. But let me be clear on where I think this approach makes sense. In my opinion, feature roundups are great for existing users of your product that want an update on new functionality they might have missed. But I don’t think they’re effective for generating new business. Instead, I would try to package these features into a compelling theme or story that you can build a launch campaign around. And if some features don't fit into that theme, I would save them for later!
