Every company is building some form of AI into their product.
But do any really know how to price it yet?
Kyle Poyar shared this innovative example from Intercom last week, who are now pricing $0.99 per successful resolution for their AI-powered chat bot.
It’s a great example of how a company can get creative with usage-based pricing to maximize value for both them and their customers.
With a free trial and a model that only charges when AI successfully resolves a ticket, customers can easily try it out and pay only when it delivers value.
At the same time, Intercom is incentivized to improve the product since the more tickets they resolve through AI, the more revenue they generate.
